South Sudan submit proposal on Sudan-Ethiopia border dispute

The South Sudan high level delegation today sent a letter from President Kiir to the Chairman of the Sudanese Sovereign Council General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan and Prime Minister Dr. Abdallah Hamadok.

Headed by Presidential Advisor on National Security Affairs Tut Gatluak, South Sudan's delegation has proposed to mediate the border dispute between Sudan and Ethiopia.


Gatluak has reported that General Al-Burhan and Prime Minister Hamadok have accepted the proposal. It is expected that Al-Burhan will soon travel to Juba to meet President Kiir to discuss the commencement of talks.
