The Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD), in collaboration with the European Delegation (EU) and the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) announced on Wednesday their intention to donate a significant number of medical supplies to South Sudan's government.
The South Sudan Friendship Press attended the announcement earlier today.
It was declared that the handover of supplies would occur on the 12th February, between 10AM and 11AM at the Central Medical Store in Konyo-Konyo, Juba.
The supplies have been procured and are to be donated to the government as part of the EU-IGAD COVID-19 response project in the region. Their use is guided by the project's framework, and it is hoped they will be distributed across the country.
