A government delegation headed by National Security Advisor Tut Gatluak arrived in Chad yesterday to convey President Kiir's condolence message following the death of President Iddris Deby last week.

The late President Deby was killed by rebel forces following a visit to frontline troops in the north of the country. The Chadian Parliament was dissolved upon his death and a Transitional Military Council was formed in its place with his son General Mahamat Deby Itno as chairman.
