Juba
The Governor of Central Equatoria, Hon. Emmanuel Adil Anthony, announced the urgent need for Juba City Council to intensify its campaigns to improve quality of life in the capital.
At a meeting with the Council's acting CEO, Mr.Martin Simon Wani, the Governor directed Juba authorities to devise further ways by which cleanliness, beauty and electrical coverage can be expanded and developed in Juba.
Governor Emmanuel also encouraged the City Council to forge a close partnership with Juba's business community and law enforcement agencies. In doing this, he asserted that Gubernatorial decrees could be passed with efficiency and tact.
Following his announcement of waste disposal reform last week, Emmanuel also reaffirmed his commitment to making Juba a city free from waste and environmental hazards.
In response, Mr. Martin assured the Governor of his council's readiness to develop Juba, protecting the health and safety of its inhabitants in line with their electoral mandate.
